40th Reunion Registration


Registering to attend the 40th Reunion is accomplished on this page in two steps:

1. Filling out and submitting a Registration Information Form


2. Calculating and submitting your total payment amount



Space is limited at the Railroad Museum so please register early to assure admittance.



Reunion Registration General Instructions


To register to attend the Class of 1970 40th Reunion please follow these steps:

  1. Fill in the Registration Information Form below. Note: married classmates please fill in separate information forms
  2. Click on the Submit button to submit your information
  3. Continue to the payment section
  4. Proceed with the instructions for the payment option selected in the Registration Information Form
  5. Married classmates attending together can make a single payment

Reunion Payment General Information

Payment information immediately follows the Registration Information Form below.

The price of admission includes heavy hors d'œuvres and beverages. Beer and wine will be provided along with sodas and bottled water.

Indicate your alcoholic beverage preference on the Registration Information Form. You can make special requests, if necessary, in the Comments box.



Cancellations

Full or partial refunds are ONLY provided with a written request. Written requests must be received by the Reunion Committee Treasurer no later than 7 days prior to the reunion. After 7 days prior, NO refunds will be issued. Refunds will be mailed approximately 4 weeks after the reunion.

Step 2. Reunion Registration Payment Procedure


Reunion registration payment may be made in one of three ways:

  • By check via mail
  • By PayPal via online
  • By cash via the door


Registration pricing for the 40th Reunion is as follows:

Note: prices are per attendee

  • $50.00 for payments received on or before  July 16, 2010 for individuals paying through the US Postal Service by check and July 23, 2010 for individuals paying online through PayPal.
  • After July 23, payment may only be made in cash at the door the night of the reunion. The price for registrations paid at the door will be $60.00 (cash only).
  • Payments received by mail must be postmarked no later than the applicable cutoff date to qualify for the discount.
Payment Confirmation
Confirmation of payment receipt will be sent to you by email once the transaction has cleared the bank. If you do not receive an email confirmation of receipt of your payment, please contact our Treasurer, Linda Ciccolella Marchman at socialbutterflie@embarqmail.com

Payment Option 2. Online payment via PayPal
  1. Click on the "Donate" button below (Don't ask - it's complicated!)
  2. This will generate a pop up window
  3. Click on the "Donate" button again in the pop up window
  4. You will be directed to PayPal
  5. Follow the instructions
  6. Fill in the total payment amount in the Donation Amount window
  7. Click on "Update Total" button
  8. The total payment amount will appear across the top of the window
  9. Log in to your account. Note: if you don't have a PayPal account you will have to create one first.
  10. You will next be tranferred to a page asking you to review your donation
  11. If everything looks right click on the "Donate ($Total payment amount) USD Now" button at the bottom to complete the payment process
  12. Keep a copy of the receipt for your records.

Payment Option 3. Pay by cash at the door

Payment at the door the night of the reunion is $60.00 per person and may only be made by cash. Don't try to give us a check, we'll just send you to an ATM machine at a nearby shopping center.

Reunion Event Schedule
  • Friday, July 30 @ 4:30 PM: Wakefield Building Tour
  • Friday, July 30th immediately following the building tour: Happy/Hour Mixer
  • Saturday, July 31st, 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM: Reunion main event
  • Parking space is very limited for the Saturday event. A satellite parking area has been established a short distance away at Living Savior Lutheran Church (5500 Ox Road, Fairfax Station, VA 22039). The church is conveniently located on the southbound side of Rt. 123 (Ox Road) just north of the intersection with Fairfax Station Road.
  • A shuttle van will operate continuously between the reunion site and the satellite lot Saturday from 6:30 PM - 11:30 PM.
  • Please plan to park in the satellite parking area Saturday evening and ride the shuttle van.
